My Story…
In 2021, I was diagnosed with several debilitating migraine conditions. Fortunately, I have found treatments to manage the worst of my symptoms but one of my conditions has kept me in constant pain every single day since. I have yet to return to work and must limit the types of environments I'm in based on my pain that day.
But it's not all doom and gloom. Going through this experience has allowed me time to slow down and find meaning in new ways. And I get to be Zoe's primary care giver and our family house manager, roles that have been unexpectedly fulfilling.
Here's where I need your support. Migraine affects nearly 40 million people in the U.S. but there is no cure and the research remains deeply underfunded, especially at the federal level. Help me raise money for this research as well as funding to train more headache specialists. The doctors at Mt. Sinai headache clinic have been instrumental in helping me manage my conditions and achieve the lowest pain possible.
